Immunology Research Technician in Therapeutic Development

The Zhao Lab is looking for a Laboratory/Research Technician. This position provides an excellent opportunity for an individual who wants to begin a career in science and/or medicine.

Research projects in the Zhao lab are centered around the regulatory mechanisms for T cell development and functions important for therapeutics against autoimmune diseases, infectious diseases, and cancers. The individual will receive training in state-of-the-art immunology, genetics, molecular biology, and developmental biology techniques. The individual will have opportunities to work with a team on significant projects or lead independent projects.

The laboratory/research technician is expected to perform routine laboratory procedures according to standardized protocols and report results. The individual receives detailed instructions on assignments and regular supervision.
