Alzheimer's Disease Research Technician

The Rice Lab is seeking a Research Technician to conduct research in cellular and molecular mechanisms of Alzheimer's disease and normal brain function using mouse models.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Managing mouse colony (updating strain database, setting up breeders, and genotyping by PCR)

Euthanizing mice and dissecting brain tissue

Sectioning, immunostaining, and imaging brain tissue

Participating in lab and departmental meetings

- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or equivalent experience.

- Willingness to handle laboratory mice.
