The Van Remmen lab is looking for a Research Technician/Research Technician II to conduct basic research in aging, skeletal muscle biology and mitochondrial function primarily through in vitro cell culture techniques.
Responsibilities
Specific duties include, but are not limited to cell culture, western blotting, real time PCR analysis, and basic biochemical assays
Job Requirements
BA/BS degree in one of the biological sciences, physics, or chemistry or equivalent years of professional, paid, relevant laboratory experience. Should be familiar with lab techniques. Previous experience with cell culture is required.
A minimum GPA of 3.2. Previous lab experience working with rodents (especially mice) is highly preferred.
